We will be meeting up at Sheriffhall park and ride from 11.00 leaving at 11.45 to ride to the event start point in Holyrood Park.

We will be forming up on road at the section of queens drive at the roundabout leading out of the park, the march will be on the opposite side facing us, photos will be posted showing our location.
If you miss the Sherifhall start point you need to go in the commonwealth pool entrance to holyrood park at 'Holyrood park road'.
NOTE: this incorrectly said in the email 'Holyrood gait' in the email. 'Holyrood park road' is the correct entrance point.
Bike location at holyrood park:
We will take part in the people’s saltire world record attempt event on foot then get back to the bikes to be ready to lead the march off at 1 pm.
We will set off at a walking pace passing the march until we’re past the parliament then under escort from police Scotland speed up a bit, head up the Royal mile to through the closed section to George the 4th bridge turning left down towards the meadows, we will take the fork to the left heading down potter row to the crossroads of Melville drive.
Then turn right follow the police along Melville drive and park on the roadside, we have permission to park along Melville drive next to the meadows this area is under a traffic order for the bikes only to park.

We can then wander over and meet the march as they come down middle meadow walk.
No bikes permitted in the meadows. More details will be posted with route maps and photos.
